When core.sparseCheckout is set to a binary-zero spelling such as 0b0, +0b0, or 0b0k, this regex treats the setting as enabled even though git config --bool core.sparseCheckout returns false (git config -h defines --bool as producing a true or false value). Consequently, inactive info/sparse-checkout metadata such as a directory, symlink, or FIFO aborts inventory generation while the native git ls-files --sparse --cached command succeeds without consuming it; include Git's 0b numeric syntax in the zero parser.

When an explicitly selected nested checkout is ignored by an outer .ignore or .rgignore, and one of its tracked files is also hidden by an inner ignore rule, this scope exemption never activates because it can relax only Git ignore rules. I reproduced --scope ignored returning an empty inventory for a nested repository whose tracked public.ts was hidden internally and whose directory was listed in the outer .ignore; the equivalent root-repository scope restores the tracked file, and changing the outer rule to .gitignore also restores it. Explicitly selected nested scopes must bypass the outer ignore that hides the selected root while retaining their own untracked-file filtering.
