Avoid lazy metadata wrappers when deserialized values require no substitution, and build the contract export index without LINQ grouping or interface enumerators. Deserialize common array types without reflection and reuse boxed values for common metadata scalars. Preserve metadata conversion, export ordering, array types, and value identity with focused round-trip tests.
