MLJSON is a set of XQuery libraries for working with JSON content. It provides functions to:

• Parse a JSON string into an XML format
• Serialize from the XML format into a JSON string
• Functions to construct JSON items
  • Objects, Arrays, Null, etc

There is also supporting functions to parse date strings in a variety of formats. It also includes a path language for accessing parts of a JSON document.

XQuery Modules

There are three libraries that provide this functionality:

• JSON (json.xqy) - JSON parsing and creation
• Date Parser (date-parser.xqy) - Parsing of date strings
• Path Parser (path-parser.xqy) - JSON Path parsing
