Prerequisites: Node.js 24 LTS (22.12 or later is supported)

npm run dev:webThe repository includes an .nvmrc; run nvm use before installing
dependencies when using a compatible Node version manager.
During development, provider adapters use Vite proxies instead of deployed
workers. /api/igdb forwards to http://localhost:3002 and /api/image
forwards to http://localhost:3001; Vite strips the /api/... prefix before
forwarding. Start the corresponding local provider service when testing game
cover or character image search.
