- install JDK from Eclipse Temurin tarball (base-image bookworm apt only ships openjdk-17), multi-arch via dpkg --print-architecture
- bump Checkstyle 11.0.1 -> 13.6.0, AssertJ 3.27.4 -> 3.27.7, Commons Lang3 3.18.0 -> 3.20.0
- move versions to ARG, enable BuildKit syntax, merge curl/chmod layers
