The published usage guide should match the current CLI surface. Removing the --version example avoids documenting a flag that is not part of the generated README content.
Refresh the lockfile maintenance branch onto main so it picks up the newer README sync and HTML validation workflow. Sync src/readme.md to the upstream README commit pinned by the refreshed checker so the generated website copy matches the branch contract again. refs: #916
