| LTspice® is a powerful, proprietary, fast, and free SPICE simulator software, schematic capture and waveform viewer with enhancements and models for improving the simulation of analog circuits. Its graphical schematic capture interface allows you to probe schematics and produce simulation results, which can be explored further through the built-in waveform viewer. LTspice’s enhancements and models improve the simulation of analog circuits when compared to other SPICE solutions. Although LTspice is free to use, you must agree to the LTspice Software License Agreement before downloading and using. | ||

| The entire repository is dedicated to decrypting encrypted SPICE files. While I can only speak on behalf of Analog Devices' LTspice program, they also reference [private], which is owned by [private]. In the "Specifications" folder in the GitHub repository, "Jtsylve" has an entire spec for LTspice and says "This document describes the two encryption schemes used by LTspice to protect proprietary model and symbol files (.CIR, .SUB, .LIB, .ASY, and others)." This is a clear violation of our IP, and our License Agreement, which the user must accept to before using LTspice. Section 4, Restrictions, of our License Agreement states that "Licensee shall not modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works of the Licensed Software." |
