Welcome to the WebTranslate addon wiki!

If the WebTranslate doesn't work in your Thunderbird, make sure you have Cookies enabled!

  1. click the main toolbar icon / Settings:

  2. click the "Privacy & Security" tab and make sure "Accept cookies from sites" is enabled:

If translator worked before

If the WebTranslate was working before, and only now got broken, you can try to reinstall it.
BUT, it's important to restart Thunderbird after uninstalling it. Otherwise the local settings/databases won't be recreated.

If nothing helps

In some case, the translator provider (or the integration) may be broken, and the best you can do is choose a different provider.
You can do this in the Settings page / Translation provider:
