Maybe this comment comes too late, but I wonder why the schema holds a list of strings, instead of just a single string? How would this be stored in NeXus? |

More that it's in the wrong repo, since this is just for bindings and the FBS is @ https://github.com/ess-dmsc/streaming-data-types/blob/master/schemas/vs00_strings.fbs Sometimes you may want to send multiple values in a single message rather than one specific one, and the treatment is very similar in either case with very little extra overhead.
