Easy toggle on/off to stop lids switching pausing my music playback :(
You can close the application after toggling on/off. It simply switches your OS into a state where shutting the lid doesn't insta-kill everything. Enjoy! Share!
Install directly from GitHub Releases or using homebrew (keeps it updated) as shown below.
- Preinstallation steps : Homebrew should be installed [https://brew.sh/]
Install via terminal in 2 steps :
- PASTE :
brew tap dhr7v/sleepcontrol https://github.com/dhr7v/homebrew-sleep-control.git - PASTE :
brew install --cask dhr7v/sleep-control/sleep-control
If you get a Security Warning : Go to System Settings -> Privacy and Security.
After apple freaks out, calm it down like this -
Click Open Anyway. Launch Sleep Control.
To Upgrade to the latest version if required -
PASTE : brew upgrade dhr7v/sleep-control/sleep-control

Rant : I can't believe I can't keep my shit on with the lid closed but I have to click allow 7 times and put my password 4 times to be allowed to use my own app.
