Marvin

Project to built a mobile, sensing, semi-intelligent robot.

Goal capabilities

  • can drive from a joystick
  • can drive itself from base AI model, including explore for itself
  • proximity sensing and never crashes into things
  • audio input
    • directional audio to allow turn to sound?
  • audio output
  • vision for scene understanding and face recognition
  • some emoting - know when it hears you or recognises you, when thinking or exploring
  • modular system so could change to biped or add manipulators in the future
