Support SNMP polling for Virtual Routers

Feature request

Currently SNMP polling appears to be available only for physical routers/devices.

It would be very useful to support SNMP polling for virtual routers as well (for example, virtual appliances running mikrotik, etc.).

Hey, good idea — how are you modeling the virtual routers right now? VMs, or just devices?

Asking because I've got custom SNMP sensors coming in thenext update :) (any OID/MIB you want, scalar or walk a table), so I just need to know which object type to hook the polling onto.

So if you can tell be most accruate what you wanna poll for i can build it into the next update :) if the below is not already what you where asking for.

rn the snmp data in the next updata can be tied together to any component (interface, disk, ram, Module Bays so on...)

Ok i will try to add the new snmp mechanics to the virtual machine model.

Im also working on a feature that lets you sync / detect drift with your vms. (vCenter/vsphere API & Proxmox) This is however on a hypervisor layer, and does not reach into the vm it self.
