This was created at my time at the Snow King Observatory. The goal was to make a realtime dataset for NOAA's Science on a Sphere (SOS) catalog to be displayed at Snow King. aurora_layer.py pulled realtime data from the OVATION model base_layer.py added a dim mask to a global map to model realtime day/night zones composite.py overlaid outputs from aurora_layer.py and base_layer.py make_timelapse.py made a movie from maps made within the past 24 hours
