I make art, teach photography, and build software. I've worked at Trello, Atlassian, Lightspeed, and Age of Union. Artist-in-Residence at Concordia University. I cofounded RECESS.
- Rover. An off-grid field rover for Pinchard's Island. It carries a camera, and a language model writes field notes from incomplete speech.
- Glowberry. A large bakeapple sculpture for Newfoundland.
- Dreamberry. The Cloudberry camera died on the island in 2018. Dreamberry keeps looking: each hour it reads the live weather and dreams the window the camera used to hold.
- Lynne Cohen Catalogue. A website and archive of the artist's work.
- RECESS. Web infrastructure for the thermal station.
- Pinchard's Island. Work about resettlement, displacement, and belonging in Newfoundland.
- Cloudberry. A solar-powered camera on Pinchard's Island that photographed the landscape across seasons.
- Cabin. A Montréal studio with a live video stream from the family cabin on Pinchard's Island.
- Driftwood. A kinetic sculpture that moves with live Atlantic Ocean buoy data.
- Adrift. A saltbox house on the open Atlantic, influced by live Newfoundland weather.
- Light House. An illuminated house sculpture on the Newfoundland shore.
- Mug Up. A video and sound performance with my grandmother Doris, about ritual and resettlement.
I'm open to:
- Early-stage software companies.
- Open source projects.
- Art exhibition design, print publication design, and websites.
- Teaching, speaking, and advising, in a classroom, on a stage, or with a team.
