This pull request renames and updates the AI strategy document to broaden its scope from "Software Engineering" to "Engineering" as a whole. The changes involve updating terminology throughout the document, clarifying training resources, and generalizing the applicability of the strategy.

Key updates include:

Scope and Terminology Updates:

  • Renamed the file from software-engineering/strategy/software-engineering-ai-strategy.md to engineering/strategy/engineering-ai-strategy.md and updated all references from "Software Engineering" to "Engineering" to reflect a broader application of the AI strategy. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

Training and Onboarding Enhancements:

Process and Roadmap Adjustments:

  • Removed specific year references from the implementation roadmap phases to generalize the timeline and make it more adaptable. [1] [2]

Leadership Approval:

  • Updated the approval line to be from the "Head of Engineering" instead of "Head of Software Engineering".
