ZeroedTools — Free Browser-Based FPS Tools

ZeroedTools is an independent browser-based toolkit for FPS players who want to measure, compare, and troubleshoot their gaming setup. It brings sensitivity conversion, aim and reaction tests, mouse diagnostics, keyboard and controller checks, display tests, and global FPS news into one platform.

This is the primary public GitHub repository and GitHub Pages gateway for ZeroedTools. The main application is proprietary and closed-source and is not stored here. This repository contains only the static brand portal published at snowfallseason.github.io/zeroedtools and direct links to the live service at dfaccount.com.

Why ZeroedTools exists

FPS setup work is usually fragmented. A player may use one website for a sensitivity calculation, another for mouse polling, a third for controller drift, and a separate page for monitor behavior. Results become difficult to compare when every tool uses different terminology or hides the measurement behind a generic score.

ZeroedTools organizes those jobs around practical questions:

  • How can I preserve the same physical turn distance when switching games?
  • Is my mouse polling consistently at the rate I selected?
  • Is an unexpected click caused by a double-click fault?
  • Does my controller have stick drift, and what deadzone is reasonable?
  • Is my display reporting the refresh rate I expect?
  • Can I repeat an aim or reaction measurement after changing a setting?
  • Did a recent patch or competitive update change the context around my setup?

The project emphasizes measurements that can be repeated and explained. A browser test is not a laboratory instrument, but it is more useful than guessing when it clearly states what it measures and what can affect the result.

Core value

A shared physical sensitivity reference

Raw sensitivity numbers do not transfer directly between games because each engine interprets its slider at a different rate. The ZeroedTools sensitivity workspace uses physical cm/360 as the cross-game reference: the mouse distance needed to complete a full in-game rotation.

eDPI remains useful for comparing two players inside the same game. For cross-game comparison, cm/360 is the more meaningful measurement.

Immediate access in a modern browser

The public tools run on the web without requiring a separate software installation. That makes them useful for a quick check after changing hardware, firmware, operating-system settings, or a game configuration. Players can open a focused test, record the result, and move to a related diagnostic only when needed.

The toolset covers more than sensitivity. Mouse, keyboard, controller, display, audio, and visibility pages help narrow down where an inconsistent setup feeling may originate.

Sensitivity, aim, and reaction

The sensitivity converter supports cross-game cm/360 comparison and game-specific setting pages. Aim and reaction tools help players test a result after converting instead of assuming a calculated number will automatically feel perfect.

Mouse tools help distinguish an in-game setting issue from a device, firmware, connection, or operating-system input issue.

Keyboard and controller diagnostics

These pages visualize detected inputs and analog behavior. They are useful after purchasing a peripheral, changing a cable or firmware version, or noticing inconsistent movement.

Display and performance checks

Display tests provide a controlled first pass for refresh rate, frame behavior, and common panel symptoms. Results depend on the complete browser, operating-system, graphics, and display chain, so important findings should be confirmed with the device settings.

ZeroedTools also maintains a separate Delta Force community vertical. It is an additional part of the site rather than the primary identity of the cross-game tools platform.

Conversion values should be treated as a measured starting point. Field of view, ADS behavior, scope multipliers, acceleration settings, and engine-specific input handling can still change how a result feels. Confirm the output with an in-game turn-distance check and adjust deliberately.

Typical use cases

Switching from one FPS to another

Keep the same mouse DPI, enter the source game and sensitivity, calculate the target value from cm/360, and verify the result in the destination game. This preserves a physical reference without pretending that every game's field of view and aiming model are identical.

Rebuilding a setup on a new computer

Record sensitivity, mouse DPI, relevant controller values, and display refresh settings. Use the browser tools as a quick checklist after installing the new system or reconnecting devices.

Troubleshooting a suspected mouse fault

Run polling, DPI movement, CPS, and double-click tests separately. Repeating one controlled test at a time makes it easier to distinguish inconsistent hardware behavior from a game-specific input option.

Checking an older controller

Open the controller tester, observe the neutral position, measure drift, and compare it with a reasonable deadzone. Retest after cleaning, calibration, or a firmware change.

Checking a new monitor configuration

Confirm the reported refresh rate, then use the motion, dead-pixel, and backlight pages under consistent lighting and display settings. These pages are first-pass diagnostics, not panel certification equipment.

How the browser tools work

Interactive tests use browser input, timing, graphics, or gamepad capabilities to collect and display the relevant measurement. Sensitivity pages apply conversion relationships and physical-distance calculations. Each tool page explains the setup required for a useful result.

Browser measurements can be affected by:

  • the browser and active extensions;
  • operating-system pointer and display configuration;
  • device firmware and connection type;
  • background CPU or GPU load;
  • frame pacing and the current display pipeline;
  • physical measurement accuracy during DPI or distance-based tests.

Repeat tests under the same conditions, close unnecessary background work, and verify important results with the game or device settings.

Privacy and installation

The core public tools can be opened without downloading or installing a dedicated application. Input used for an interactive measurement is handled by the tool running on the page. Standard website analytics, optional online features, and information a visitor intentionally submits are described in the official ZeroedTools privacy policy.

No tool should be interpreted as a promise that browser diagnostics replace manufacturer utilities or calibrated hardware. ZeroedTools provides accessible checks and clearly scoped calculations.

Global FPS news center

The ZeroedTools FPS news center covers globally relevant game updates, patch changes, esports events, releases, and service notices. News is kept distinct from the tools: visitors can open a measurement immediately, or read current context when a patch may explain why a setting, map, weapon, or competitive environment changed.

Is ZeroedTools free?

The public browser tools are free to open and do not require a paid download.

Do I need to install software?

No dedicated application installation is required for the public web tools. Use a modern browser and follow the instructions on the selected test page.

Why does the same sensitivity number feel different in another game?

Each game maps its sensitivity slider to rotation differently. Two games can display the same number while producing different physical turn distances. Use cm/360 for cross-game comparison.

Is eDPI the same as cm/360?

No. eDPI is mouse DPI multiplied by in-game sensitivity and is most useful for comparisons inside one game. Cm/360 measures physical distance and provides a shared reference between games.

Are browser hardware tests perfectly accurate?

They are practical diagnostics rather than laboratory instruments. Browser timing, device firmware, operating-system settings, background load, and the display pipeline can affect results. Repeat tests under controlled conditions.

Is the main application open-source?

No. The ZeroedTools application is closed-source. This public repository contains only the static GitHub Pages gateway and links to the live service. It does not contain the main application source code.

Does ZeroedTools sell game accounts?

No. ZeroedTools is an FPS tools and information platform. The domain name does not represent account trading services.
