Nice work! 😎

I didn't find anything of concern

Risk: 🟢 Low

Risk analysis

The security_impact score is elevated because adding CAMERA permission could potentially expand access if misused, though it's marked as optional. The blast_radius is low since this affects only the Android app manifest and doesn't touch shared libraries or public APIs. Other dimensions are minimal as the change is straightforward and reversible.

Pull request overview

This PR updates the Android app manifest to enable camera-based scanning by declaring the camera runtime permission and explicitly marking camera hardware as optional so the app remains installable on devices without a camera.

Changes:

  • Added android.permission.CAMERA to allow runtime camera permission requests.
  • Added an optional camera hardware feature declaration (android:required="false") to avoid excluding camera-less devices.
