As part of your upcoming interview, we ask you complete one of the projects outlined in this repository. Each project should take less than two hours, and they are rated based on difficulty. More difficult projects do not impress us more if they are not up to a high quality, so the idea is for you to pick a project that represents your skillset and experience well.
There are two general types of projects, hardware and software. Software projects are completed in whatever language you feel comfortable with, however example code will be provided in python or C. These should be chosen if your interest is more in the computer science side of avionics or payload. Hardware projects are purely theoretical, and usually require only basic schematics or math showing your solution. These should be chosen if your intent is to work on PCB design with SARP.
We strongly advise not using AI for any of the work. This is because during the interview, we will ask questions that change small but meaningful details about the project that will be exceptionally hard to answer if you did not go through the work yourself. Using AI for these significantly reduces your chances of performing well in the interview.
