Overview

Collections are versioned repositories of references to existing concepts and mappings. Collections are used to organize concepts and mappings that are defined in other sources into useful logical groupings. Examples of collections include a subset of ICD-10, a diabetes value set, or a Community Maternal-Child Starter Set. Concepts and mappings are added into a collection by creating references. Multiple references may be combined to build the desired set of concepts and mappings.

Note: Sources are used to actually create or edit concepts and mappings. Refer to Adding and Managing Sources for more information.
