Hey, I'm Ashsmith! 👋

Thanks for stopping by my GitHub profile.

About Me

I'm a Computer Science and Business Administration student at Northeastern University, on track to graduate early with a concentration in Fintech.

I'm interested in systems, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, finance, and responsible AI. I enjoy building practical technology, learning how complex systems work, and thinking about how AI can be integrated responsibly into real-world projects.

Current Work

I recently wrapped up a Research Assistant role at Khoury, where I studied AI adoption in local government. This summer, I was a Teaching Assistant for CS 3200 - Databases.

I also run Uniplex Host, a hosting startup focused on providing infrastructure for developers.

Outside of Tech

Outside of school and work, I enjoy playing Minecraft, Roblox, and chess, watching documentaries, and getting into stories with strong worldbuilding. I'm a Star Wars fan, my favorite character is Padmé, and my favorite show is Suits.
