This pull request adds entry point scripts and improves the installation and packaging of node scripts for ROS2 launch compatibility in the depth_anything_3_ros2 package. The most important changes are grouped below:

Node script entry points and installation improvements:

  • Added new entry point scripts: depth_anything_3_node and depth_anything_3_node_optimized in the depth_anything_3_ros2/scripts directory to provide direct executable entry points for ROS2 nodes. [1] [2]
  • Updated the setup.py installation configuration to include all scripts in depth_anything_3_ros2/scripts/ under lib/<package>/, ensuring compatibility with ROS2 launch mechanisms.

Packaging and setup script enhancements:

  • Improved the import statement for setuptools in setup.py to suppress type checking errors.
  • Enhanced formatting and clarity in the setup.py description field for better readability.
  • Improved formatting of the camera config installation path in setup.py for consistency.
