printprogress

The input group printprogress specifies printing of iteration results. The group includes the following logical variables:

• printprogstart
• printprogstartstd
• printprog
• printprogstd

A typical example with all default settings in found in listening.txt. The resulting iteration summaries can be found in listening.csv. For each stage, the summary includes the iteration number, the number of steps required within the iteration, and the log likelihood at the end of the iteration. The summary can be used to indicate convergence problems or unusually slow speed of computation, an important feature in complex models for large data files.
