Recovery-first. Code-obsessed. Glasgow.
I studied HND Software Development at college, dropped out, and went to work in communications — which is a clever way of saying telesales — until I hit my boiling point. Then I rebuilt my life from zero. Recovery is the foundation under everything I am and everything I build: I live by a daily program, and it turns out the discipline that keeps you well also makes you unusually productive, reliable, and honest about what's actually working. I can't do much about the stigma that comes with saying that out loud. I'm not ashamed of it. It's my superpower, not my footnote.
These days I run a one-person studio where a crew of AI agents does the heavy lifting and I do the deciding. I balance the screen time with improv comedy — hence the name. Financial success would be a fine by-product, but peace of mind is the real metric. Late start, building in public, nothing to hide about the road here.

An eclipse companion for 12 August 2026, built and shipped from a phone the day before the eclipse. Type your town and it computes your times to the second from your own coordinates — Meeus solar theory, verified against sixteen published city timings to within seven seconds — then talks you through the whole event with your phone in your pocket. Forecast says clouds? It checks the sky in every direction around you and points you at the nearest gap, by car or bus. One HTML file on GitHub Pages. No tracking, no signup, no app store — open it once and "Add to Home screen" installs it like an app. Honest exit codes, but for the sky.

- Honest exit codes. A tool that can't do its job says so loudly. Most of my tooling exists because of tools that lied politely.
