Overview
Upgrades the
actions/checkoutGitHub Action from v5 to v7 in the CI workflows that still referenced the older pin.main.yml(matrix test job) andpublish-to-pypi.yml(build/publish job) now useactions/checkout@v7for the repository checkout step. Existing options are unchanged:fetch-depth: 0remains so tag history is available for setuptools_scm and PyPI tag-based publishes.No application or Python code changes; this is a workflow dependency bump only.
