Just a couple of things that caused the core file generation to break for me (at least on macOS):

• the trailing slashes in filepaths lead to paths with double slashes in them, which don't work;
• the script won't create the temp_data directories if they don't already exist.

With these changes it works for me but haven't tested thoroughly!
