Aniraku is split into a few connected projects instead of putting the whole product in one repository. The web client handles discovery and browser playback, the backend handles the service boundary, and the Android client brings the experience to native devices.
The common path is simple:
find something → watch it → keep your place
The work is open source, and each repository has its own contribution notes and release information.
| Project | What it does | Start here |
|---|---|---|
| Web client | Catalog, schedules, recommendations, profiles, library, watch history, comments, and browser playback. | Source · Live site |
| Backend | Go services for API access, authentication, metadata, provider coordination, network safety, and normalized responses. | Source |
| Android client | Native playback, library, history, relationships, provider controls, and supported downloads. | Source · App site |
The current Android release is v4.2 for package aniraku.anime.app. It supports Android 9+ on ARM32 and ARM64 devices.
The release includes the native player, watch-history recovery, Relationships, provider and audio controls, AniSkip, fullscreen playback, list synchronization, and Downloads for eligible progressive sources.

If you want to improve the project, start with the repository that matches the change:
For a bug report, include the repository, route or screen, device/browser, reproduction steps, and relevant logs. For security issues, follow the security policy in the affected project instead of posting sensitive details publicly.
