Summary

  • Adds the steamclient.so SHA256 for Steam client build 1784669098 (steamdeck_stable) to SafeModeHashes in res/updates.yaml.

Opening on Ace's behalf since his internet is fucking deaddd

Missed the mismatched patterns due to SLS not actually injecting on my system and I didn't notice, now properly fixed

Test plan

  • Verified against a freshly-updated live Steam Deck install (Steam self-updated from build 1782861641 -> 1784669098).
  • Hash confirmed as sha256sum of ~/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steamclient.so post-update.

steamclient.so from Steam client build 1784669098 (steamdeck_stable).
IClientRemoteStorage::RunIPCFrame and CSteamMatchmakingServers::RequestInternetServerList
signatures no longer matched after the latest client rebuild. Both re-derived and
live-verified (SafeMode off) against steamclient.so build 1784669098 on steamdeck_stable;
SLSsteam now loads and hooks successfully with no signature failures.
