One more idea for a source. Event Booking. Again it would allow for incredible flexibility in how Event Booking pages and listings are shown, all without needing to work with overrides.

Essentials for YTP 1.4 adds support for 3rd party DB sources, it might be a solid alternative to this request.

Just like using Essentials for YTP data sources for HikaShop, it kind of works. It is not a full fledged replacement for a dedicated data source, not at all. Maybe if you ever enhance the relations capabilities and allow for relations of relations, then it might be a solution. Until then all we can hope for is using the DB sources of Essentials for YTP for very basic sources within EventBooking.
