Taxonomy URL uses collection handle, not collection slug

Bug description

I have a collection Trainer-Led Learning which is configured to use the route /trainer-led-learning/{slug}.

I have a taxonomy Staff Groups which is linked to the collection.

When using the {{ taxonomy }} tag, the {{ url }} that is produced links to /trainer_led_learning/staff-group/{slug}.

I'm not sure if it is intentional that the - in the collection slug is replaced by _. I assume the taxonomy is using the collection handle to generate urls, and does not respect its configured route? Interesting it doesn't use the taxonomy handle too ie /trainer_led_learning/staff_groups/term

How to reproduce

1. Create a collection Trainer-Led Learning.
2. Scaffold views
3. Configure its route to /trainer-led-learning/{slug}
4. Create a taxonomy Staff Groups.
5. Create views /trainer_led_learning/staff_groups/{index, show}.antlers.html
6. In the index view, loop over the taxonomy:

Expected output:

This is kinda intended right now.

The collection "route" setting is only used for building the URLs of entries. You wouldn't necessarily want to use this route for taxonomy indexes too.

Currently, the only way to customize taxonomy routes is to add custom routes in your routes/web.php file. However, this PR might come in useful for what you're looking for: #8627

If I have explicitly configured a route, I think it's more intuitive for it to be used for all routes that use the collection.

Also if I were to change the route setting for the collection, I would expect this to be updated in all routes.

Maybe I'm missing a use-case where this wouldn't make sense.. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The "Route" setting is only used for entry routes, not related taxonomy routes. They're different concepts.

For example: if you configure /articles/{year}/{month}/{slug} as the route for your articles, you wouldn't want that to be the route used for terms.

Is it a bad idea to change the collection handle to match the route? It seems easier but not sure if it's a footgun.

Or would you recommend just setting up custom routes?

You might run into JavaScript issues using hyphens in collection handles, so I'd probably opt for a custom route for now.
