Embedded links and metadata

I'm trying to insert properties from another note by using embedded links:

I have a folder of quotations where each file has author, quote and tags properties. In the body of each note I use this plugin to display the quote and author - this works well. When I then want to include the quote file in another note, I use an embedded link and it seems to work as planned, but at times the value of the property is not displayed and instead I see:

{{quote}}
{{author}}

It's unpredictable - I'm not sure what triggers this. Is using embedded links not intended to be supported?

Hm, interesting! How are you embedding the note? Markdown and/or wiki links? I suppose you display them with ![[link]]?

Lastly, when closing the note and opening it again, is it successfully rendered? This could that it struggles with just the initial rendered, but then it's fine. In any case, thanks for the report!

Can you update to the latest release and check if this has improved the situation? i.e. version 0.7.1.
