I connected both an Xbox Series X/S controller and an Xbox Elite controller via the Microsoft Wireless Adapter and they both showed up as PID 0x02fe and "Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows #2"
This causes users to lose their controller customizations in Steam, which keys based on controller VID/PID.
