Writing data to file' hangs on `contentful space export`

Using v3.10.4 of the CLI (and node v24.10.0), we're running the following:

contentful space export --environment-id "$ENV" --management-token "$CMA_TOKEN" --space-id "$SPACE_ID" --export-dir "./contentful-exports" --include-drafts --include-archived --skip-webhooks

We're seeing an intermittent issue where the step named 'Writing data to log file' hangs:

Downgrading to v3.7.0 resolves the issue. I haven't tried any versions inbetween.

Additionally, when I run contentful --version I get 0.0.0-determined-by-semantic-release

Thanks for the report, Jimmy Thomson (@jimmythomson) — this matches a pattern we've been investigating.

We have a working hypothesis that a dependency bump in contentful-export between v3.10.3 and v3.10.4 may be contributing to the hang, but haven't confirmed it yet.

Narrower workaround: Downgrading to v3.10.3 might be sufficient — no need to go all the way back to v3.7.0. If v3.10.3 still works (or doesn't work), let us know!

Hello, I have the same problem.

with "contentful-cli": "3.8.8", it works

We started seeing this issue randomly starting the week of 7.23.20206, we were using version 4.0.5
Downgrading to version 3.8.12 seems to be a workaround for now.
I didnt test every minor patch in 3.9 or 3.10, but tested on versions 3.8.13 - 3.8.15, 3.9.12 & 3.10.4 & 4.0.3 - 4.0.5 and they all hang on that final step.
