GitHub Issues: https://github.com/boshu2/agentops/issues

All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

All community leaders are obligated to respect the privacy and security of the reporter of any incident.

What to Include in Your Report

When reporting an incident, please include:

  • Your contact information (so we can follow up)
  • Names (usernames, real names) of individuals involved
  • Description of the incident, including:
    • When and where it occurred
    • What was said or done
    • Any witnesses or evidence (screenshots, links, etc.)
  • Whether the incident is ongoing
  • Any other context you believe is relevant

Confidentiality

We will respect confidentiality requests for the purpose of protecting victims of abuse. At our discretion, we may publicly name a person about whom we've received harassment complaints, or privately warn third parties about them, if we believe that doing so will increase the safety of community members or the general public.

Enforcement Guidelines

Community leaders will follow these Community Impact Guidelines in determining the consequences for any action they deem in violation of this Code of Conduct:

1. Correction

Community Impact: Use of inappropriate language or other behavior deemed unprofessional or unwelcome in the community.

Consequence: A private, written warning from community leaders, providing clarity around the nature of the violation and an explanation of why the behavior was inappropriate. A public apology may be requested.

Example:

  • Using mildly inappropriate language in a comment
  • Making a minor off-topic post
  • Forgetting to follow contribution guidelines

2. Warning

Community Impact: A violation through a single incident or series of actions.

Consequence: A warning with consequences for continued behavior. No interaction with the people involved, including unsolicited interaction with those enforcing the Code of Conduct, for a specified period of time. This includes avoiding interactions in community spaces as well as external channels like social media. Violating these terms may lead to a temporary or permanent ban.

Example:

  • Repeatedly ignoring feedback or contribution guidelines
  • Minor harassment or disrespectful behavior
  • Sharing others' private information without permission

3. Temporary Ban

Community Impact: A serious violation of community standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior.

Consequence: A temporary ban from any sort of interaction or public communication with the community for a specified period of time. No public or private interaction with the people involved, including unsolicited interaction with those enforcing the Code of Conduct, is allowed during this period. Violating these terms may lead to a permanent ban.

Example:

  • Pattern of inappropriate behavior
  • Harassment or sustained trolling
  • Submitting malicious code or plugins

4. Permanent Ban

Community Impact: Demonstrating a pattern of violation of community standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior, harassment of an individual, or aggression toward or disparagement of classes of individuals.

Consequence: A permanent ban from any sort of public interaction within the community.

Example:

  • Severe harassment or threats
  • Repeated violations after warnings
  • Intentionally malicious actions (malware, exploits, etc.)
  • Doxing or sharing private information

Appeals

If you believe you have been unfairly accused of violating this Code of Conduct, you may appeal by:

  1. Opening a GitHub issue at https://github.com/boshu2/agentops/issues
  2. Providing your side of the story with any relevant context
  3. Remaining respectful during the appeal process

Appeals will be reviewed by community leaders not involved in the original decision. The decision on appeals is final.
