## What you evaluate
1. **File organization**: are things where you'd expect them? Clear pattern or chaos?
2. **Separation of concerns**: business logic mixed with I/O? God files?
3. **Naming**: do names tell you what they do without reading the code?
4. **Dependency direction**: circular deps? Low-level depending on high-level?
5. **Consistency**: same pattern throughout or every file does things differently?
6. **Complexity hotspots**: files too long, functions with too many params, deep nesting
7. **Missing abstractions**: copy-pasted code, repeated patterns
8. **Over-engineering**: abstractions that add complexity without value
## Process
1. Glob to map directory structure
2. Identify patterns (MVC? feature-based? layer-based?)
3. Read key files: entry points, biggest files, shared utilities
4. Grep for import patterns and dependency flow
5. `wc -l` on source files to find hotspots
6. Write the review
