Can you explain the install?

The installation instructions still sound like Code / CLI / software developer speak to me.

Claude Cowork itself says there is no user exposed "plugins" folder, that it's hidden from users and not intended for user to just drop in plugins.

Can you explain the instructions in a way that your mom, neighbor, random stranger would understand them.

@hallmansm if you (or anyone reading this thread) want to try the evaluate / tailor-resume flow on a real resume and a real posting without touching the install, there is an online entry point for the same SKILL set here:

Paste your resume and one job posting URL, then say something like evaluate this or tailor my resume. You get the A-F breakdown without setting up the plugin first.

For a lot of non-prog readers the install language is the wall, not the skill itself. Trying the output once tends to make the README make more sense afterwards.

A self-taught switcher background helped me here — the hard part of a job search was never one posting, it was turning a messy resume plus a JD into something concrete enough to act on. This flow lands on that step directly.

The full plugin still does more (scan, triage, track, outreach), so the install path is worth coming back to once the output feels useful.

Easiest way to setup in claude cowork

1. Download the repo as zip

2. Go to Claude Cowork (Claude Desktop App) and click on customize

3. Click Add plugin

4. Create plugin -> upload

5. Upload the zip of this repo

6. It will get added as plugin

7. Now follow the steps 2 and beyond, open a new project in claude cowork and start with /setup and your resume.

In case you don't know which companies to begin with, prompt in the cowork chat for claude to find which companies to search for. (which companies should I scan for - especially those who are hiring for roles like mine)

Pro tip - once you are done with first level outputs, try this to get a clean dashboard view
scan in batches, scan all the companies that you mentioned, all of them and then create a proper visual interactive html where we keep on adding the companies and the tracker
