Widget list doesn't get updated until you change room in view when sliding sync is enabled

Describe the bug

Attempting to remove a widget (added with /widget) silently fails.

Reproduction

1. Add a widget to a room with /room.
2. Open the "Widgets" sidebar.
3. Click on the trash can icon of the added widget.
4. Nothing happens.

Expected behavior

I'd expect the widget to be removed from the room.

Platform and versions

- OS: Linux x86_64
- Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:152.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/152.0
- Sable: v1.20.0 (12e5547)

Additional context

Nothing interesting in console logs.

Oooh, wait, it's not that the widget doesn't get removed, the im.vector.modular.widgets state event to remove it gets sent, it's that the widget list doesn't refresh until you change room and back!

This specifically happens with Sliding Sync enabled, and doesn't happen with it disabled.
