[Feature] Allow editing device-specific profiles (TV, Mobile, Desktop) in addition to the Global profile #233

Description

@DrPleb

What problem does this solve?

Feature Request

Currently, Moonbase allows administrators to manage and customize the Global Profile for users.

However, Jellyfin also supports device-specific profiles such as:

  • TV
  • Mobile
  • Desktop

At the moment, these profiles cannot be managed through Moonbase, which limits the ability to provide a tailored experience depending on the device being used.

Use Case

Many administrators want different layouts and settings based on the client type.

Examples:

  • Simpler and more visual layouts on TVs
  • More content density on Desktop clients
  • Optimized navigation and sections for Mobile devices

While the Global Profile provides a good baseline, device-specific profiles offer much finer control over the user experience.

Proposed solution

Extend Moonbase to support editing all available Jellyfin profile types, including:

Global Profile
TV Profile
Mobile Profile
Desktop Profile
Administrators should be able to:

View existing device-specific profiles
Modify profile settings
Save changes independently for each profile
Optionally create or reset profiles when supported by Jellyfin

Area

Settings sync / profiles

Client impact

  • Better user experience across different devices
  • Full access to Jellyfin personalization features from Moonbase
  • Greater flexibility for administrators
  • Consistent management workflow without leaving Moonbase

Additional context

Many Jellyfin deployments are accessed from a mix of Smart TVs, streaming boxes, web browsers, and mobile devices. Being able to configure these profiles directly from Moonbase would make device-specific customization significantly easier.
