Limitations

This repository demonstrates bounded pattern transfers; it does not establish ecosystem frequency. Pattern use confers no automatic quality advantage. A constructive sample or fixed-revision correspondence does not establish cross-Host behavioral equivalence. Established software-engineering traditions remain the prior source, so the repository rejects any claim of invention of source patterns. Structural profiles also carry no maturity ordering.

Analytical boundaries

Concept What it describes What it does not imply
pattern An established response to recurring design forces, defined through intent, participants, collaboration, and consequences. A filename, implementation medium, frequency claim, or guaranteed benefit.
implementation dimension An observable structural relation inside one Skillware Unit at a declared revision. A pattern, quality grade, development history, or required sequence.
mechanism A recurring implementation practice that can realize several patterns or connect their participants. Preservation of a source pattern's complete participant structure.
lifecycle stage A temporal position in creating, adopting, consolidating, maintaining, or evolving the same unit identity. Structural complexity, pattern count, or maturity rank.

These concepts answer different questions. A pattern explains a design relation under forces; an implementation dimension profiles what is present; a mechanism explains how a responsibility may be realized; and a lifecycle stage locates change through time. None can substitute for the others as evidence.

The repository's focused tests verify declared contracts in controlled samples. They do not by themselves establish production reliability, security, usefulness, comparative performance, adoption prevalence, or behavior under different models, contexts, tools, permissions, state, and runtime versions.
