In the current version LogExpert 1.41, the menu entry Settings \ Persistence \ Deactivate Portable Mode
does not seem to work as expected or is unclear in its behavior.
When this option is enabled, the configuration is expected to be stored outside the portable directory. According to the description, the configuration is stored under: LogExpert\configuration
However, the following issues have been observed.
- after start LogExpert Every time the settings dialog is opened via:
Tools \ Configure
the following question appears:
- The following file is always created, regardless of the selected persistence setting:
C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\LogExpert\trusted-plugins.json
