This is relevant to some generic SABER work that I'm beginning to test as well at Discover. It would benefit multiple agencies:

As an update, I have in my test branch, pytorch 2.12 building. It requires a pretty annoying patch, but it does build.

There is a 2.13 version that just isn't in the JCSDA spack-packages fork yet. If/when we update the fork, it should come in then.

@Dooruk I'll let you know when I have some test stacks to, well, test with. I'm currently re-re-rebuilding as I find issues with modulefiles, etc. I'll feel more confident once I can build GEOSgcm. Currently tracking down CMake issues, etc., (i.e., f2py. It's always f2py)
